For Valentine's Day, we did fondue, which was very meat based; however, we had bruschetta for an appetizer. I didn't have a recipe just a picture in my head of the bruschetta that Julia makes in Julie and Julia.
So I mixed red and yellow peppers, garlic and stewed tomatoes in a skillet and heated them all up. Then Nick sliced up some french bread, and brushed the slices with olive oil. They were delicious!
