Nick's Birthday
This just goes to show how lazy I've been...Nick's birthday was December 11! We went out to dinner with a group of friends to celebrate. It was a lot of fun and Nick got some great gifts. Sadly, we only took two pictures and one of them is missing a dear friend who is taking the picture.
The first picture is Nick pointing at his sandwich. We went to the RAM. His sandwich was huge it had a burger, a split bratwurst, onions and goodness knows what else.
Nick requested a carrot cake for his birthday, so I made another one for him.

Our Lives
Nick and I have officially been married a year now. We absolutely love it!
Throughout this year, we have cooked, laughed, loved, had disasters, done chores, had fun and cried....but we wouldn't change it for the world.
For our anniversary, we went out to Season's 52, a seasonal restaurant that focuses on healthy food. We then planned on going to see Captain America, but missed the showing because my phone died and we had to buy a new one. Even though our celebration was fill of hiccups, we ended the night in laughter!
We did make it to see Captain America a few days later, and we really liked it. It is on caliber with the rest of the other super hero movies of the time.

California Vacation 3
I think my favorite part of this trip was the aquariums and museums we went to. Usually, I would say the beach or something of that nature, but since it was so crummy outside, the inside activity won my vote this vacation. Nick took most of these photos at the Monterey Bay Aquarium; which, I must say, out ranks the San Fran. Bay Aquarium by loads and loads!
The penguins were Nick's favorite, but I loved the jelly fish!

California Vacation 2
So originally, I would have done our pictures from Cali in some kind of order. I didn't though. Mostly because then they would have started out all nice and sunny and gotten gloomier and gloomier as the vacation went on. That's right, it rained and was cold the majority of the time.
Here are some of the pictures from Monterey. I didn't put the aquarium pictures up yet, but they will be up soon.

California Vacation
Nick and I went to visit my family in California, at the beginning of June. We had a great time hanging out and being on vacation.
Here is my first set of pictures from our trip. These are all in San Francisco. We spent one day there with the family, and then spent the night there and the next day by ourselves.
